Steve (an airline captain) and Crissi (a flight attendant) met when they ended up on the same route together. Steve has really good instincts when it comes to people, and after one conversation with Crissi, he felt an immediate connection. That led to Steve commuting back and forth for the first year of their relationship between Chicago and Florida. Shortly after, Crissi decided to leave the windy city to be closer to Steve and his children. Navigating through a long distance relationship in the beginning, traveling different schedules, and blending a family hasn't always been easy. But in the end, it was all worth it. You won't find anyone more dedicated and loving than these two. Not only for each other, but anyone who has the privilege to be in their circle.

Travel was, and still is, a big part of their life. Therefore, it was only natural to incorporate it into their wedding day. From the airline ticket place cards, to the airport code table markers, and the luggage tag napkin holders--it was a perfect representation of how their love story began.

Steve + Crissi--thank you for allowing me the great honor of documenting your special day. You two are one of a kind and I truly wish you all the best. Much love-Elaine

Steve + Crissi opted for a quick glance before the ceremony. Just enough time to exchange hugs + kisses, and shake off any pre-ceremony nerves.

Danielle of Save the Date FL really out did herself with all the florals. Heart eyes for daysss...

Their sweet pup Lila! <3

Save the Date FL is a mom and daughter dream team: Danielle on florals and Phyl as the wedding planner. I mean, look at this reception space!!

Officially Mr. + Mrs!!

They hired a caricature artist for the reception and guests took home their own custom portrait. How fun!?

They ended the night on the dance floor. Completely swept away by the music and each other.

Brittany always imagined getting married in a historic church with stained glass windows. So when she + David walked into The First Presbyterian Church of Ocala--with it's architecture dating back from the early 1900s--they knew it was the perfect place to exchange their vows. And all the same goes for why they intentionally chose The Ocala Ballroom for their reception. It's vintage aesthetics won their heart and their wedding day was just as charming as they are. David + Brittany are some of the most loving and kind people you will ever meet. After being introduced to their families, I know exactly where they get it from.

David + Britt--Thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding day. Words cannot express how the day + the people you chose to stand by you, perfectly represents who you are. I'm so grateful our paths crossed. Xoxo!

Prayers before the ceremony <3

Oh these mismatched lanterns have my heart! Also, a vintage wedding wouldn't be complete without an Instax + all the Poloroid film to go around.

First Dance w/ a classic chandelier. Perfection.

They spent the rest of the night on the dance floor with all their people. Even the little ones!

The night ended with sparklers and friends + family who ushered them into their new adventure together as husband + wife.

When Hal first met Rebekah, she was like a breath of fresh air for him. There was something special, something real there that was worth pursuing. They spent the beginning of their relationship on opposite coasts of Florida, but they'll tell you, the distance only deepened their connection and forged an incredible bond between them. All of this was evident from the first moment I met them. So when Hal + Rebekah asked if I'd be willing to travel to Singer Island for their wedding, the answer was.....HECK YES! Any reason to spend another day with them, really. And the teal waters and blue skies of Singer Island didn't hurt either. It all made a beautiful backdrop for their morning ceremony and brunch reception at the Hilton.

Hal + Rebekah--You both are so ridiculously fun + sweet. There's  a special place in my heart for the two of you. Always. I can't wait to see all the travel + Disney adventures you continue to go on. In honor of 'Wine Wednesday', I'm blogging your wedding on a Wednesday! ;) Adore you both!
