He sent Alexa for a walk through the park. With each turn, there waited a family member with a video of Blake at a location significant to their relationship. From the elementary school where they met, to the space where they spend most of their free time, and all the places in between. Tears, at each and every stop. This progression eventually led her to a long boardwalk lined with candles and roses. At the very end waiting was Blake—sunset behind him, ring in hand, ready to ask Alexa to spend the rest of their lives living out this wild love story God has written for them. Obviously, she said yes.

These two give me all the warm fuzzies feelings, guys. They exude so much joy, which is profoundly evident in their photos. We recreated bits and pieces of their first date—beach at sunset, blanket, Blake serenading Alexa with his guitar….you know, basic first date stuff. ;) The light, these two beautiful souls, and everything about this evening was absolute perfection. Their Fort De Soto engagement session is one for the books and below are some favorites. Enjoy!

Connor took some time off during college and jetted off to Germany. During that time, it gave him a lot of clarity to whom he'd want to share his future and adventures with. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, and he knew exactly who his heart belonged to. His heart guided him right back to Kaley. They've been in the same circle of friends since the 6th grade, but the stars never did quite align for them until their early college years. However, all that time helped them develop a sweet friendship that really poured into the foundation of their (now) relationship.

In their time off you can find them gaming together, getting lost in the world of classic literature, or spending time at the orchestra. All the things that make up who they are will be represented on their wedding day, and I can't wait for their October nuptials. Below are a few favorites from their Hollis Gardens engagement session. Enjoy!

Boy meets girl, they get caught in the rain on their first date, they maintain a long distance relationship, girl gets ready to jet off to Mexico for 6 weeks, boy shows up at her doorstep—as she's literally about to leave—and proposes. All the makings of a romantic movie minus the running through an airport scene. This story, though, is just a few details from Hal and Rebekah's real life love story. Like any good movie, I'm getting sucked in and excited to see how the rest of the story unfolds. Their wedding this Spring, on Singer Island, is only the beginning of this beautiful, grand adventure they're on.

We explored the Disney Yacht Resort and Boardwalk on the coldest day this Winter had to offer us Floridians. These two were such troopers to endure the wind + cold with me! Here are a few favorites from their session. Enjoy!

These amazing guests with these Mr. + Mrs balloons just happened to walk by as we were shooting, and insisted we use them. Disney magic, y'all. <3

This ring belongs to Hal's grandmother. Holy gorgeous, right? Family heirlooms for the win!

A quick change and we headed over to the Boardwalk to wrap up the session. You wouldn't know it, but it was really, really cold since the sun was starting to set. But these two...absolutely nailed it. <3
