June 25th is a special date. Not only special because it's the day Nick and Stormy got married, but an anniversary date they will forever share with Stormy's parents and grandparents. What a beautiful homage to two amazing couples who have set a great example of marriage and love for these two. Nick and Stormy found intricate ways to honor them throughout the wedding day. From the gold framed wedding photos over the mantle, mom and grandma's original wedding dresses on display, strips of lace from their veils that were incorporated in the bouquet, down to the original cake toppers that donned the dessert table--they didn't miss a thing. All the generations of tradition and legacy intertwined with the story Nick and Stormy are currently writing.

Nick and Stormy - I love your love for each other. Maybe it's the quiet glances, the deep rooted words you vowed to each other, or the way you both melt into each other's arms. What ever it is, it makes me feel overwhelmingly lucky to be on the other side capturing it all. Thank you.

Below are favorites from their wedding day. Huge warning, there's more photos here than normal. Once you see this wedding, you'll know why! ;) I'm still recovering from all the gorgeousness of this old Florida wedding. Also, MUCH love to all the vendors who nailed it. Enjoy!

During bridal prep, Nick sent up a little gift for Stormy; a camera she's been wanting for a while, and on it, the sweetest video message from her husband to be.

The base of Stormy's bouquet was wrapped in lace from her mom's veil and the lace from her grandmother's veil was made into a flower and tucked into the bouquet itself. Roberta is a creative genius!

These Batman cuff links were a gift from Stormy to Nick. <3

They opted for a first look and to exchange their vows privately. This moment...I can't even explain how special, intimate, and moving this moment was.

I love first looks for the intimate factor, but I also love the ample time it gives us for portraits!

Her parents soaking in the fact that their little girl is now a bride.

For those who are concerned if a first look will ruin a groom's reaction seeing his bride walking down the aisle, based on Nick's reaction, I'm going to say not. at. all.

This flower crown, these florals. Gah.

We took a quick popsicle break before the reception. Hyppo Popsicles, a local favorite of theirs!

Nick and Stormy handed over the floor to her parents. It was their 40th wedding anniversary after all.

Dancing the night away under twinkling lights and a confetti send off, I'd call that a perfect ending to a beautiful day.
