He sent Alexa for a walk through the park. With each turn, there waited a family member with a video of Blake at a location significant to their relationship. From the elementary school where they met, to the space where they spend most of their free time, and all the places in between. Tears, at each and every stop. This progression eventually led her to a long boardwalk lined with candles and roses. At the very end waiting was Blake—sunset behind him, ring in hand, ready to ask Alexa to spend the rest of their lives living out this wild love story God has written for them. Obviously, she said yes.

These two give me all the warm fuzzies feelings, guys. They exude so much joy, which is profoundly evident in their photos. We recreated bits and pieces of their first date—beach at sunset, blanket, Blake serenading Alexa with his guitar….you know, basic first date stuff. ;) The light, these two beautiful souls, and everything about this evening was absolute perfection. Their Fort De Soto engagement session is one for the books and below are some favorites. Enjoy!

I've seen my fair share of brides on their wedding day. Some peaceful, some nervous, some emotional. Kaley, on the other hand, was PUMPED. Like prepping for the Super Bowl kind of pumped! She was so ready to finally marry her best friend, whom she's known since the 6th grade. Meanwhile, Connor took the more quiet, collected approach to his morning. That is until he saw his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. All. The. Tears. In the very church where they committed to their faith--a cornerstone of their relationship--was the same place they exchanged their nuptials and committed their lives to one another.

I can't thank this vendor team enough. Including all the friends and family who had a hand in making Connor + Kaley's wedding a success. Lots of moving parts in hot and humid weather, but this team devoted themselves to give Connor + Kaley a day they will never forget. Below are some favorites from their gorgeous Lakeland wedding. Enjoy!

Kaley wore her late grandmother's ring on her right hand to have her close by on her wedding day.

Like I said....all. the. tears.

Look how happy they are to be announced as Mr. + Mrs.!!!

Heartfelt toasts were given.

And then BOOM, they break out in a choreographed Fox Trot. Can I tell you how much I adore these two??

As the sun started to set, we snuck in a few more photos.

The evening ended with the sweetest things...cake + bubbles.

Connor took some time off during college and jetted off to Germany. During that time, it gave him a lot of clarity to whom he'd want to share his future and adventures with. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, and he knew exactly who his heart belonged to. His heart guided him right back to Kaley. They've been in the same circle of friends since the 6th grade, but the stars never did quite align for them until their early college years. However, all that time helped them develop a sweet friendship that really poured into the foundation of their (now) relationship.

In their time off you can find them gaming together, getting lost in the world of classic literature, or spending time at the orchestra. All the things that make up who they are will be represented on their wedding day, and I can't wait for their October nuptials. Below are a few favorites from their Hollis Gardens engagement session. Enjoy!
